Lil Booty Call Fascinating Five SA Current Layout

Part of the San Antonio Current’s Fascinating Five, This story is a feature on rapper Lil Booty Call. I wanted the layout to reflect weird and cool internet culture, with a bit of a vintage phone cord vibe. We were sent some beautiful press photos, so I wanted to feature as many as I could in the design. I retained the teal color of the Music section because it worked so well with the orange, and I wanted a glyph-like font for the header text.
